At The Meditative Creative, workshops put creativity at the heart of wellness, providing a safe environment for all ages to get in touch with and explore their creative side.
All of my workshops are available and adaptable for any age group. I have worked with pre-schools and toddler groups, afterschool clubs, primary and secondary schools, university groups, tour companies, corporate clients and senior citizens.
Whether it's to tie-in with curricula, a special event or festival, a chance for you and your team to bond or up-skill, or just a memorable event you're after, please contact me.

Combining creativity, happiness, mindfulness and gratitude exercises - aka CREATEFULNESS - these classes are all about providing you with a safe space to connect to and rediscover your creative self. The F-Word (FAIL) Workshops

Afraid to fail? These classes are for you! Designed to help you explore and develop a particular creative skillset in a safe supportive environment where experimentation and failure are encouraged! First, we complete exercises to help you let go of fear. Then, we'll learn a new creative skill, like watercolour paints, charcoal, wire drawings, ink, sculpture, printmaking and more. Finally, we'll purposefully do it wrong! In these sessions, the bigger the failure, the bigger the success!
Sillyful Sessions

We all take ourselves a bit too seriously sometimes, and these classes are designed to help us let go. Think comedy, for wellness sake! So shake off that stress and stretch your giggle muscles as you take part in a number of activities that have no purpose other than to make you laugh, and hopefully have a good time. Whether it's improvisation, writing, or drawing, the outcome will never be art - but it will be fun!
Seanchai Sessions

Rediscover the ancient Irish art of storytelling in these sessions. Reconnect to yourself, history, land and the mythology of Ireland by taking part in a story circle. In each session, you will learn a bit about Celtic mythology and the art of storytelling, take part in a few story exercises, connect to the other participants, and get your own chance to tell a story. A magical experience, don't worry if this is your first time - this class is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to story savants! Each session will focus on stories that are applicable to the time of the year, based on the old Irish Wheel of the Year.
Sustainable Creativity

Creativity doesn't have to be bad for the environment. In these sessions we learn how creativity and the world around us can support and intertwine with each other. Teaching skills such as foraging, creating our own canvases and paints, and more, each session has an artistic outcome that is created using sustainable skills.
Murals and Anti-Graffiti Sessions

Young people are a minority group in that they often have no control over their environments, and often feel like their voices aren't being heard. They turn to outlets such as Graffiti as a way to take back control and make their mark on the world.
These workshops focus on approaching students from a place of understanding and empathy, and empowering young people to harness their creativity in different ways such as videography, murals and zines, while introducing them to key environmental literacy and sustainability issues.
